We currently have two vacancies in our Youth and Children's Team:

We’re making a difference in the lives of children, young people and their families, both within the church and also in the local community. We already have an established ministry, and we’re looking for great people to join our team and help take this on to the next level.


ADMINISTRATOR FOR YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S TEAM:

St Stephen’ Church are looking to fill the post of Administrator for Youth and Children’s Work, which includes responsibility for the administrative side of our pre-school STEPS.

As there is a significant financial element to the pre-school work, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate a high level of numerical ability, confidence with financial details and a good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, in addition to strong general administrative skills.

Our ideal candidate will be able to work 20 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days) during term time and 10 hours per week during the school holidays, although we are open to the possibility of a job-share.

Interviews will take place during the week beginning 12th June, with the successful candidate starting as soon as possible after that. The deadline for applications is Thursday 1st June.

CHILDREN'S WORKER:

We are looking for a new Children’s Worker to help develop our vibrant children’s ministry at St Stephens Church.

Supporting our Children’s and Families Pastor, you will be working with children aged 0-11, helping them to learn about Jesus and follow him. The role will include visiting our STEPS pre-school, developing our work with local primary schools, running clubs and helping to lead our children’s ministry on Sundays.

This role is for 25 hours per week, with some flexibility possible, but will regularly involve Sunday mornings and occasional evening work. There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be a practicing Christian.

Interviews will take place during the week beginning 17th July, with the successful candidate starting at the beginning of September. The deadline for applications is Friday 16th June.
