Summer 2017

With the summer now in full swing, here are details of some of the services that are coming up in our summer programme...

10:30am services this summer:

During our 10:30am services we'll be following our "I believe!" series where we'll be exploring what we believe and what forms the foundation of our faith. This series will comprise two All Age Services (23rd July and 3rd September) and also our Summer Streams (30th July to 27th August), where we meet to worship together at 10:30am, and then separate into two different areas; the church stream which remains in St Stephen's and follows a similar format to a typical 10:30am service, and the family stream where parents and young children go to the community centre next door for lots of games, crafts and family activities. In both these Streams we will be following the "I believe!" series.

6:30pm services this summer:

If you haven't been to one of our Sunday evening services're missing out!! They're a wonderful mix of friendly company, intimate worship, and a good dose of bible teaching too! This summer we're continuing our series on David (if you've missed any of the previous weeks they are all available on our Podcast page). We don't run any groups for children or young people at the evening service, but it is really accessible for people of all ages, with several families and young people regularly coming along.

The doors open at 6:00pm for coffee before the service itself starts at 6:30pm. So if you've been missing out, why not drop in this summer?!

Other services:

In addition to the services mentioned above, our other services will be continuing as usual. These are:

  • 7:45am Holy Communion (on Sundays at St Stephen's)
  • 11:00am Service of the Word (on Sunday at St Eanswythe's)
  •  11:00am midweek Holy Communion (on Wednesdays at St Stephen's)
