What do we do?

Most importantly, we are here to help.Getting into debt or experiencing financial difficulties can be a frightening and sometimes bewildering experience. The advice centre has over 40 volunteer advisors who are trained to help people through the process of sorting out their money issues and helping them back on the road of financial stability. There are many reasons why somebody gets into difficulty with money and whatever you tell us will be treated in the strictest confidence. With your commitment, we will work with you to help you out of debt.

How can we help?

West Kent Debt Advice is one of the largest independent debt advisory services in the South East of England. Working with the support of churches of Tonbridge, and registered with the Advice UK, WKDA is very experienced in dealing with creditors and financial organisation throughout the region and beyond. We deal with new debt cases every wek and are used to handling all types of issues from small credit card debts to threatened eviction or court action. Once we fully understand your individual circumstances, we will work with you to establish a fair and affordable solution with your creditors. Where appropriate, we will establish direct contact with each organisation on your behalf, and help you through the entire process, accompanying you to court in small number of cases that this becomes necessay, until your individual situation is resolved.
